  I so want this to be true and provable. If there are copies extant with good provenance they would be blue gold. When the original book came out it was gold to me as a young pioneer. They went out like hot cakes and the profit as a young eager pioneer was almost worth going out on the work for. I was then, a true believer.

  I would love to see/hear first hand evidence that this dynamite was a product of the 1970s and not some later spoof.

  The source here, Atlantis/Petra makes me sit up and take notice, you are the a massive portal for good stuff so thank you again. If you could give us some provenance without outing anyone, that would be great.

  9 Parents and elders, what can you learn from Jehovah’s example? Consider how you respond when those under your authority question your decisions. Is your initial reaction to correct them? Or do you try to understand their point of view? Families and congregations surely benefit when those in authority imitate Jehovah.

  Ha Ha Ha!

  Try doing that with anyone in authority any where in the organisation. Try writing to a member of the GB or branch committee etc. See what happens.

  There was a time when preaching, conversation in fact interaction with others was quite fulfilling to me. It was a time when it seemed reasonable to believe that the last days were on us. When 1975 was still pn the future. We used our own abilities to use the scriptures (however misguidedly) to persuade and "prove" our points, There was a challenge to the "work".

  Now, a 91 page manual of pre-digested letters, just add your signature.

  The modern dub is a dumb drone. Don't think, just copy, paste, point and fire. Even for full believers, it's a sad day.

  So if the highest price was paid the bill would have been less than $130,000, say half a sold KH or less? One question, perhaps they included a battery pack, that may have upped the price a little.

  In any case the amount spent on this project is a pittance in comparison to the millions, perhaps billions spent on their Warwick castle.

  It really looks incredibly cynical. The only question in my mind is whether they have been stupid enough to have their legs lifted. It wouldn't surprise me, I've seen them pay far too much for stuff in the past.

  So take your choice cynical dishonesty or incompetence, it's one of the two.

  i found an interesting passage from the wt, june 15, 1974 which reads:.

  "it is to the spirit anointed christians who will rule in that kingdom that most of the christian-greek scriptures is directed, including the promise of everlasting life.
